Ms. Iorio brings nearly two decades of investor relations and capital formation experience and expertise to Island Capital. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Head of Investor Relations at Cohen & Steers, where she helped build the firm’s private real estate business. As part of her role, Ms. Iorio was responsible for cultivating relationships with Cohen & Steers’ existing and prospective institutional investors, including consultants, pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices and insurance companies, while serving as a product specialist for all private real estate initiatives at Cohen & Steers. Before Cohen & Steers, Ms. Iorio spent over eight years at DigitalBridge, formerly known as Colony Capital, where she was a Managing Director responsible for capital formation. Earlier in her career, she held senior investor relations, sales and distribution roles at Barington Capital, Eaton Partners, FirstMark Capital and CRT Capital.
Ms. Iorio volunteers her time in support of several not-for-profit organizations, including the Central Park Conservancy Playground Partners, which supports the maintenance and enhancement of Central Park’s playgrounds for children and families and is an active parent in the Convent of the Sacred Heart community, Ms. Iorio serves on the Benefit Committee, Library Committee, and Book Fair, contributing to key school initiatives. As Chair of the Talent Show, she helps provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity. Committed to education and community engagement, she remains dedicated to enriching the student experience and strengthening the Sacred Heart community.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College.
