Mr. von Bonin is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, performing due diligence on and closing acquisitions as well as maintaining relationships with operating partners, brokers and financing sources. He has expertise across numerous asset classes and in markets throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Island in 2017, Mr. von Bonin worked in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure investment banking group at Deutsche Bank.

Mr. von Bonin graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics.
