He joined Island in 2015 and brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, finance and restructuring to the firm.
Prior to joining Island Capital, Mr. Schneidman was a partner and head of acquisitions at Herald Square Properties, a New York City operator of office properties. Mr. Schneidman was also employed at Lehman Brothers where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring and asset managing principal equity investments in commercial real estate. Transactions included single-asset and portfolio acquisitions and sales, REIT privatizations and complex restructurings. Before Lehman Brothers, Mr. Schneidman worked at Eastdil Realty in New York where he focused on private real estate sales transactions.
Mr. Schneidman earned a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and a J.D., cum laude, from American University. He is admitted to the New York State Bar.
