Mr. Pisano is responsible for overseeing asset management for the companies’ Recovery Funds whose investments span a broad array of commercial real estate, including office, multifamily, hospitality, amongst others across the U.S.
Mr. Pisano possesses extensive experience and expertise across all facets of real estate investing ranging from fund raising, acquisitions, and operations, to leasing, financing, restructuring and dispositions. He is also recognized as a strong “hands-on” asset manager who is effective at managing risk and developing strategies for potentially troubled assets.
Prior to joining Island Capital, Mr. Pisano was the head of asset management at WeWork Capital Advisors where he oversaw a $3.8 billion portfolio of real estate investments. Before WeWork, he spent 17 years at JP Morgan where he rose to serve as an Executive Director within the firm’s Global Real Assets group and specialized in value-add and opportunistic investments totaling nearly $7 billion in portfolio value. Earlier in his career at JP Morgan, Mr. Pisano worked on the corporate finance team as an expense controller in support of the firm’s asset management division.
Mr. Pisano is a graduate of Iona University where he earned a B.S. in Finance.
