Senior Vice President, Fund Marketing

Peter Elser is a Senior Vice President at Island Capital Group, where he leads the firm’s international business development efforts. He is responsible for expanding Island Capital Group’s relationships with family offices, institutional investors, entrepreneurs and strategic partners across Europe and other international markets, helping connect global capital with the firm’s investment strategies.

Drawing on a career focused on international clients and cross-border relationships, Peter supports Island Capital Group’s capital formation initiatives while also helping identify investment opportunities and strategic partnerships outside the United States. His work spans real estate, distressed and special situations investments, with a particular focus on strengthening the firm’s international presence and investor network.

Prior to joining Island Capital Group, Peter was a banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in New York, where he advised international clients with assets, businesses and investment interests in the United States. He worked closely with entrepreneurs, family offices and globally mobile families across Europe and North America on investment strategy, private markets and cross-border planning.

Before J.P. Morgan, Peter was a Client Investment Associate at Fisher Investments, serving Italian-, French- and Spanish-speaking clients across Europe and supporting their investment and wealth management needs.

Peter earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and holds a bachelor’s degree from King’s College London. Based in New York, he maintains an extensive network of investors, entrepreneurs and family offices across Europe and the United States.
