Execution:

Island Capital acquired RCM, a market leading data-driven SaaS CRE platform and marketplace and executed an aggressive growth strategy. By expanding its product suite and deepening client relationships, we transformed the company before selling it to a strategic partner. RCM’s ability to scale quickly and generate high returns attracted premium software valuations at exit, maximizing financial gains for our investors.

Execution:

Island Capital acquired PZR, a market-leading company that pioneered zoning due diligence and transformed it into a tech-enabled data services platform. By leveraging PZR’s library of over 225,000 zoning reports and 20,000+ municipal contacts, we digitized the workflow and transformed the company into a tech enabled data services business before selling it to a strategic technology partner. PZR’s strong cash flow funded growth and technology investment without leverage, making it attractive to acquirers and enabling a tech exit valuation that maximized investor returns.

Execution:

Island Capital served as the sole advisor to the government of Dubai in the creation of the Emirates National Securitization Corporation (ENSeC). ENSeC was created to be the Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae analog for the region, and was the region’s first secondary mortgage market, facilitating home ownership and liquidity. This engagement demonstrates Island Capital’s expertise in the real estate debt capital markets.

Result:

Successfully advised on the region’s first AAA-rated asset-backed securitization, demonstrating our ability to export sophisticated financial engineering to global markets.
