Plan, organize and maintain the accuracy of all financial information recorded and reported
Utilize knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, knowledge of Company accounting policies and professional judgment to determine or recommend appropriate recording of transactions
Ensure the proper and continuous flow of accounting activities needed to maintain accurate complete financial records
Maintain effective communication with other departments as a basis for assuring complete and accurate financial information and appropriate documentation
Coordinate with supervisors to provide tax adjustments and supporting schedules necessary to file companies’ tax returns
Prepare analyses necessary for efficient quarterly reviews and annual audits
Assist in special projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in accounting (Masters in Accounting or MBA preferred)
0-6 years + experience with a background in public accounting and/or public company preferred
Little to Advanced knowledge of GAAP
Certified Public Accountant or candidate preferred
Fluent in computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
